Inbound numbers are being used by clever companies to monitor what locations customers are calling from, and what advertising & marketing is making them call.
Inbound Numbers Australia is the only Australian Telco to use Jet Interactive’s Call Tracker reporting system. Jet’s reporting has been described as ‘Google Analytics for phone calls’.
Call Tracker provides the following:
Online access: No need to wait for the monthly bill to arrive to see the reports. All reports are interactive to allow greater analysis of data.
Detail: There over 20 different online reports available. The following are some of the most popular:
- Highest calls by cities, towns and days
- Calls per inbound number and marketing method (ie TV, Internet, Press, etc)
- Call ratio per population
- Call ratio per business
Geographic Representation: Locations of where customers are calling is represented via geographic maps of Australia.
Exchange Level: All other companies provide call destination by Call Charge Zones. These zones are fine for representing small rural locations, but do not provide any break down for the major urban areas that are classified as a single charging zone (40% of the Australian population live in just two Call Charge Zones – Melbourne and Sydney). Jet is the only company that reports at an exchange level.
Delivery: You can customise your reporting portal to send you email alerts, and you can download your call information in XLS or a CSV file to manipulate anyway that you wish.
